Day 9 - Sunday - Introduction to Residential Home Inspection
FAREWELL BREAKFAST
Students are treated to breakfast "on the house" at a well-known Ottawa diner whose breakfasts are a tradition on Elgin Street.
COURSE EVALUATION
We always ask our students to provide course critiques and feedback on content and presentation. This process allows us to continually improve our course design and delivery methods.
INDIVIDUAL STUDENT ASSESSMENT
Discussion of Student Summary containing Class Participation, Report Writing, Mini Tests, Final Inspection Report (both verbal presentation and technical content) and Final Exam results including breakdown by category of subject matter taught.
AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES
Successful graduates are awarded their "Certificate of Completion" on an individual basis during the above assessment process.
FINAL WRAP - UP
We have a final group chat at which time graduates are provided with information about HII's Private On-line Information Exchange. A summary is provided with additional tips on "where to go from here". Having established a close bond during their 9 days with us, all graduates are encouraged to communicate amongst themselves and establish a small networking group. Students are also reminded that they should keep in touch with us and may receive answers to their enquiries from The Home Inspectors Institute®.
